-
Full Scope Representation
Retaining Steven to represent you in a legal dispute means he will enter appearance with the Court on your behalf, meet and communicate with you regularly, handle communications and disputes with the opposing counsel or unrepresented opposing party, handle all court appearance and filings for your case, and be by your side, arguing your case, and representing your interests in any mediation, hearing, or trial.
-
Consultation & Unbundled Services
Whether you’re already represented by an attorney or trying your own case pro se, Steven can be hired with a limited scope for consultation regarding your legal rights and potential remedies, legal strategy, trial preparation, and more. Other forms of unbundled legal services include drafting pleadings and motions, review and assessment of complicated financial or contractual documents, and assistance with discovery or subpoena process.
-
Trial Counsel
Steven can be retained in advance of a trial to lead or co-counsel with your current attorney throughout the pre-trial and trial processes. Many lawyers, including even some who are very competent outside of the courtroom, are often inexperienced with trial advocacy, unfamiliar with the rules of evidence, or unsuspecting of the sneaky or bad faith strategies utilized by some less-ethical opposing counsel. Steven is a specialist in “flash advocacy” - being able to pivot with little or no notice to argue, present evidence, and cross examine on the surprises that often don’t pop up until mid-trial.
